The ideal time to explore this paradise is from October to May, steering clear of the monsoon season. To get to Kuruva Island, you can take a boat from the Kuruva Island Boat Landing, which is approximately 17 km from Mananthavady in Wayanad.

Chembra Peak is the highest peak in Wayanad, at 2,050 m above sea level,near the town of Meppady.This well-known tourist spot provides stunning views along with thrilling trekking and hiking experiences.
One of the standout features of the peak is the heart-shaped lake, referred to as "Hridaya Saras" or "Heart Lake." The area is rich in biodiversity, showcasing a diverse array of plants and animals. From September to February, visitors can obtain permission from the Forest Department to trek to the peak and enjoy the natural beauty of Chembra Peak.
